Unit 1

Introduction
"Good Game" & Colors

In Unit 1 we are introduced to the GAME:IT course and look at gaming as it may apply to the "real world" and learn about the logical thoughts, components, programming and color schemes that make a "good game."

We want to not just "play" games– but start thinking about how the game was designed and why certain choices were made by the developers. Games are a result of thousands of hours of logic, imagination, artistic talent and math & science coming together…they don’t "just happen" and they aren’t made by accident. In fact, game developers use the same problem solving design cycle to create their games as an architect would when designing a building or an engineer would when designing a machine.
