Begin by partnering with one other student, and then working with your partner choose a topic from the list to create several practice storyboards for. Choose 3 of the six types of organizational charts and create a different storyboard for each type, all using the same topic.
Choose a topic that you are somewhat familiar with – it is very difficult to create a Web site on a topic you know nothing about. You may draw your storyboards by hand, or create them using Word, PowerPoint, or Inspiration.
Use the following instructions to complete each storyboard:
• Use a separate sheet of paper for each storyboard
• Indicate the home page
• Indicate the main topic of discussion on each page – it is not necessary to list, or even be familiar with, every fact that would go on each page
• Every page must cover a unique topic not covered anywhere else in the site
• Use lines to indicate every page that any given page is linked to – be certain that your links make sense and that your site has a logical flow
• Define a minimum of 20 pages
• Place the names of all group members on each storyboard and staple them together before turning them in
