Chapter 8

Positioning Objects with Layers

  • create a layer
  • set the position and size of a layer
  • add content to a layer
  • use the layers panel
  • configure layer preferences
  • convert layers to tables and tables to layers

In a Word document, define the vocabulary words listed below as they relate to Dreamweaver. 
Your name, class title (Web Mastering or WM) and period number should be in the top right corner of your paper. A centered title should appear on the first line of text and the terms should be numbered.

Make certain you know these terms (you will see them again).

Assignments
Read
through Chapter 8 and complete Lessons 1-6 in your book -- Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 Revealed and
Skills Review (8-28-29).

Save all work in your folder by the name stated in the instructions. Most assignments will be graded on screen. Others you will print and turn in a copy. For all assignments, please make certain your name, the course name and period number are printed in the top right corner of your page and the appropriate assignment name is centered on the first line.
