Educator Dispositions Assessment

Prior to completing an Application to Teacher Education, all teacher education candidates must have the Educator Dispositions Assessment completed by two Lenoir-Rhyne University faculty members.* This is an electronic form that you must send to the two faculty members of your choice. Please copy the paragraph below and email it to the faculty members you choose. They must both complete the assessment before you can submit an Application to Teacher Education.

*Elementary Education candidates will send the Educator Dispositions Assessment to two faculty within the School of Education

*Middle Grades Education candidates will send the Educator Dispositions Assessment to one faculty within the School of Education and one faculty outside of the School of Education

Copy and paste this request to two faculty members:

Dear [Faculty Member],

I am interested in applying to the Lenoir-Rhyne University Teacher Education program. As per the School of Education's requirements for admission, I must have two faculty members complete an Educator Dispositions Assessment. The purpose of this assessment is to obtain an evaluation of the dispositions of Lenoir-Rhyne University teacher candidates at various points in their pre-service training. These dispositions are based on both the conceptual framework of LRU's pre-service program and research-based educational program literature. I would be honored if you would complete the assessment for me and submit it to the School of Education. You can access the electronic form here. I appreciate your time and feedback. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you,
