All students completing fieldwork in public schools must maintain a clear criminal background check. As such, the Lenoir-Rhyne School of Education requires that all students complete an annual background check each year of their teacher education program of study. Lenoir-Rhyne will only accept background checks completed through Castle Branch. All students must have a completed and clear background check on file which is current (within 12 months) of their date of application to the School of Education.
