Through self reflection by writing my philanthropic autobiography and thinking ahead by creating my professional plan, I was able to articulate my own values, civic identity, and strategies I plan to use in order to increase my own capacity for action. I was ale to recognize different philanthropic values and identify which I hold as my own. Through updating my autobiography, I was able to examine personal and professional experiences related to philanthropy since I had experienced more in the field, academia, and received feedback. In my professional plan, I was able to generate and describe strategies for the area of philanthropy which I am passionate about. The professional plan and philanthropic autobiography that I wrote are strong representations of this learning outcome.
