I was nomiated for Teacher of The Year in my district (Stonington) this past year. As part of the application process, I was required to explain my beliefs about teaching. For reasons explained in the video, I created this short reflection to submit instead. I have included it here because I believe that I was better able to articulate my beliefs for the general (non-academic) population based upon the Learning Theories class which required the Personal Philosophy paper.
