High School

John Randolph Tucker High School is a High school in Henrico County, Virginia, United States. It is named after lawyer and Henrico County Judge John Randolph Tucker. Its students and faculty often refer to themselves as "Tucker Tigers". The school had approximately 1500 students and over 150 faculty members, 135 being teachers, during the 2013-14.

I attended JR Tucker High School from Sept. 2008-June 2011. While attending JRTHS I enrolled in a Technical Center through our County. This Tech Center at Highland Springs High School had many programs to offer. I was able to be selected for the Computer Systems Technology(CST) course. This is a two-year program the teaches student s fundamentals of the IT world. Through this course I was able to obtain my CompTIA A+ & NET+ certifications.

Interesting facts about JRTHS: We had 3 Cafeterias with our door patios and seating, I managed to go through all 4 years without eating inside a single day. The school is also campus style, so there are no indoor hallways except for in the most recent building 'Building 10'.

This is the outside of 'Building 10' the newest building on the campus that faces the main parking lot.
