The purpose of ECI 300 is to develop preservice teacher understanding of the content and professional framework associated with teaching and learning of mathematics in the elementary grades, K-8. The course addresses content issues and professional issues facing the mathematics education community.

There is one artifact required for ECI300, Mathematics in the Elementary School:

1. Concept Activity Planning Model

Develop a concept activity lesson plan model. Follow the template provided in class and include all components: content, learning materials, classroom organization, concept activity, and assessment.
