There are many different cultures that can be found in any classroom. This is especially true in a music classroom because each classroom visits the music teacher regularly. This paper briefly states why multicultural education is important in a music classroom and discusses an example of a multicultural activity that is cross-curricular.

    This paper states reasons why multicultural education is important. I will list one of the ways to implement different strategies into the music classroom. The strategies are adapted from some ideas listed in textbooks that were originally meant for ESL teachers.
