This portfolio is for you to preserve what you learned in this class for future use in the classroom. The following sections should be included in the toolbox:

Complete a Case Study of a student with disabilities, following the rubric as found in the SPE Case Study document, located in the course Resources section.
ii)Achieving Personal Goals
(1)This section includes specific evidence from your coursework that demonstrates your achievement of course objectives in the following areas:
(a)Introduction to assessment
(b)Technical prerequisites of understanding assessment
(c)Assessing students
(d)Interpreting assessment for educational intervention
(2)Choose pieces of work you have done in this course for each category, a rationale why you chose each piece, and an evaluation of your current skills in the area.
iii)Reflective Evaluation
Take the time to reflect on these past eight weeks and the topics covered. Reflect on what kind of teacher you would like to be. How are you going to get there? Which topics these past eight weeks, were of most relevance to you? Review the course objectives and write a statement about what you learned. Develop plans for continuing your professional development in the field of special education. Summarize your reflections in a 500-750 word essay.
Using criteria listed in the Module, choose an academic area of concentration and write two measurable goals and five specific objectives to meet each of those goals for the student. Find this project and upload it here and explain how it meets or exceeds the selected standards.
