The curriculum map I have created is an example of my ability to effectively design and plan meaningful instruction for student learning that assist in the implementtaion and instruction of a lesson, through the creation of appropriate learning environment where both the teacher and student can assess the development of skills and degree of understanding. This teaching tool will be useful for helping student meet the standards of learning as set aside in the Arizona Professional teaching standards. This curriculum map uses language that the student can readily identify with that ask them to utilize what they know to develp a deeper understanding of the the authors message about mankind. Within the journey of discovery the design allows for student to interact with various mediums to investigate, report, design, collaborate, and communicate their understanding of a basic truth about human nature as reflected in the works they explore and the lives they have lived.
