Osbourn Park High School

Front Entrance to Osbourn Park High School

Osbourn High School opened in 1931 and was named after Eugena Osbourn, a proponent of public education in Manassas and Prince William County, Virginia. Ms. Osbourn was the principal of Osbourn High School in Manassas. Osbourn High School was changed to Osbourn Park when there was a new high school built in Manassas city, which was very near by. The current principal is Neil Beach, which was Assistant Principal until the last year that I was there. I attended Osbourn Park from Fall of 2007 to Spring of 2011 and enjoyed my time there. When I was done with high school, I received an Advanced Diploma and a 3.5 GPA.

Osbourn Park offers the Biotechnology program. It is a four-year program for students interested in health sciences and related fields. The Biotechnology Program provides students a rich environment of integrated humanities and the opportunity to enroll in a variety of Advanced Placement (AP) science courses. I was in the Biotechnology Program and we had to do 100 hours of science hours that contributed to our education.

Osbourn Park also offers all different sports during all seasons of the year. I played soccer in the spring for three out of the four years, on the Junior Varsity team. I was named captain my sophomore and junior year and lead the team to many victories.
