In order to demonstrate  content knowledge in early education I submit artifacts from ECE 435 created during the fall semester of 2011. These artifacts are submitted as level IV because I have successfully implemented both items within my student teaching experience. The spider take home literacy pack is a tool which I contend had a positive impact upon the children's learning experience primarily because it was fun and the families were involved in the activities within the comfort and safety of the home setting. The literacy log was primarily used by myself when I sought a handy reference tool to quickly recall a book I considered implementing in the classroom.
