Standard 5.2 Collaboration with families, colleagues, and community agencies

The artifacts within this content section demonstrate my active collaboration with families, colleagues, and community agencies through my participation as a member of the Syracuse Affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.  I have been a member of SAEYC since 2007 and have served on the Board of Directors since 2009.  I have recently  become Communication Committee Chairperson and my responsibilities include maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship with the media and Early Care and Learning agencies within our membership area. Through the promotion of the 2011 Week of the Young Child I promoted aspects of intellectual, social , emotional, and physical well being of children and those who work in the Early Care and Learning field within the Syracuse, New York area.
