Community-based research is a qualitative research method of collecting data. Instead of collecting data and statistics, this research project consisted of delving into the community and creating bonds with the organization, Taller de José and their clients to get a better understanding of the individuals through their personal experiences, in this case, their narratives. Community research permits a more personal and interactional way of looking at trends among groups of people.
