Short Internet Paper:

A paper (about 3- 5 pages): The student should read and reference reliable Internet resources and or journal articles (at least 5 sources). The student may choose any relevant topic other than their presentation topic. However, the student may take an aspect of presentation to greater depth (if the topic is pre-approved by instructor). At least 5 sources (more is better) should be consulted on any developmental psych topic. The first page of the site or journal article should be printed out and handed in (do not upload). References should be in APA format. You may use a sites such as www.noodletools.com or www.easybib.com to help you format references. A 3 to 5 page summary paper combining information gleaned from all the various sites is attached to the web pages. (Note: this is not a summary of each individual site but an integrated combination of the information from all of them.) The student may also refer to journal articles. All sources should be scholarly, reliable, and reputable. Sample topics include breastfeeding, pre-natal learning, development and team sports, fetal alcohol syndrome, parenting styles, and grieving. If you are in school counseling you may also be required to upload your paper electronically. This is the student's responsibility.
