Biography

Suzel Bautista is currently a junior studying Psychology at Loyola University Chicago in Rogers Park. Her career goals as of now are to remain in the psychology field and continue onto graduate school. After graduate school perhaps do clinical psychology or go into the medical field. Suzel’s experiences with traveling to different countries have impacted her to go beyond her comfort zone and immerse herself in different cultures and build relationships. By continuing to travel and study abroad she hopes that she will be able to understand that there are bigger things than herself and be well rounded when she tries to help her future patients. Suzel’s trip to Honduras through Global Brigades this past summer has been a rewarding and a motivating factor in continuing to pursue a career in psychology, and perhaps in the medical field. Suzel believes that “whoever saves one life, saves the world entire” and will try her hardest to help whoever she can through the support of her family, friends, her mother’s spirit and above all, God.
