Read Alouds

tttt.JPG

Read-Alouds are active, enthusiastic readings of children's literature to the entire class. They often include voice changes (such as in tone and inflection), and even props. Read-Alouds should engage all students and it is important to ask questions before, during and after they are performed. To demonstrate my knowledge of read-alouds, I created a hypothetical handout for other teachers in a school explaining what an effective read-aloud is.
