Throughout Children's Literature I learned numerous things about how to make literature a more valuable experience for students in the classroom. I learned the traits of quality literature, the importance of reader response activities and how to make them engaging, the importance of multicultural literature and introducing students to different genres, and most importantly, how to utilize these things to be the best literature-rich teacher I can.
