The feeling of constant butterflies in my stomach is the only way to describe the way I felt at the beginning of my first technology course, PowerPoint.  Entering the educational feild, however, I understood that in a constantly evolving technological society, it is crucial for teachers to be technologically inclined.  Through this course I was able to learn about the amazing program PowerPoint which will be extremely beneficial in my education profession.  Through a variety of PowerPoint assignments and projects, I mastered this software.  One group project provided my first opportunity to create a custom PowerPoint presentation based upon the educational views of presidential candidates George W. Bush and John Kerry.  This project granted me the opportunity to create a presentation with little direction, using my own creativity and imagination.  I also had the privilege of creating a PowerPoint based on the final reflection of my service learning experiences.  These projects enhanced my knowledge and understanding in this incredible software that will provide a different learning and teaching technique in my future classroom.  Now that I have completed this course, I can say that the initial butterflies that churned in me have flown into a formation of confidence and newly gained knowledge.
