The goal of this project is to have children answer questions, and use the correct spelling of words. It also gives them information about words and phrases that are associated with the month of October.
e) In what ways do you foresee could this project facilitate kids learning in your classroom? Will this media project encourage use of problem solving skills by the learner? If so, in what ways?
Yes, this project has children think about what the answers are. They need to be able to think of a word that is associated with a question or phrase. Students will need to think of information that they already know and then place the correct words in the appropriate crossword spaces. This project can help children work together if they get stuck on a question. I think it would be fun for children to create their own crossword puzzle, and then have their classmates solve it.
