Portfolio Rationale

Artifact:  A professional portfolio to show my undergraduate work from Appalachian State University.

Context:  This artifact consists of a Professional Portfolio which was created during my Block I classes at Appalachian State University.  My portfolio was developed through the use of TaskStream under the instruction of Mary Rogers.  To develop this portfolio I used many different technological resourses such as: PowerPoint, IMovie, Digital Camera, Video Camera, Webpage Builder, TaskStream, Internet, and Microsoft Works.  I will use the Professional Portfolio to obtain a teacher's position in the state of North Carolina.

Impact:  The Professional Portfolio was a requirement for my undergraduate work at Appalachian State University.  I feel that I have developed a Professional Portfolio that meets the standards and requirements for my undergraduate work.  The portfolio will produce a visual insight into my work at Appalachian for future hiring personnel within the state of North Carolina.  The portfolio is easily accessed by just emailing my link from TaskStream.

NETS-T IA-  I have met this standard by using technological skills and resources to develop a Professional Portfolio.  The portfolio shows evidence of my technological skills such as: a Web Page, PowerPoint Presentations, an IMovie, worksheets, lessonplans, slide shows, etc.
