Learning about Myself

I didn't learn about myself as much as just learning about Japan while I was there. It DID help solidify my desire to work abroad somewhere. It showed me how much I miss out on just staying home. I hope to continue to learn Japanese and become fluent, though I didn't improve as much as I had hoped... It would be a daunting task, but hopefully it can happen. I want to learn other languages, too, so we'll see how it goes.

I wish I was more interesting than some of these portfolio pages seem. I'm the type of person that already understands a great deal of myself, my goals, my dreams. So I learned a smaller amount about myself than others may discover for themselves. I can also take a lot in stride, so it seemed that nothing could really throw me for a large enough loop to really discover something major about myself.

So I'm sorry if you are expecting more.

However, for each individual is a different experience. You can't expect everything I have discovered or learned to happen to you. And just because I may have learned less than others, doesn't mean I am the only account. It may sound boring from my experiences to some, but to others, I hope I can inspire. An international experience will ALWAYS help someone, teach someone, inspire someone. Don't let those opportunities disappear!
