Journey through Japan 2015

Returning Home

At the time of writing this, it has been 3 months since I got back from Japan. I know, seems like too long to put this off for, but I wanted to make sure I didn't have any reverse culture shock or something. I just wanted to make sure I knew what to write for this section.

I can say, though, that it went very well, arriving back in the US. Except for the part where I missed my first flight and had to stay in a hotel overnight to catch the flight the nest day...good thing I had a friend with me. However, aside from being exhausted, I made it home in one piece! I was so happy to see my friends again, so I stayed in Indianapolis for a week before going home to hang out with them, share my stories. Then I went home and, honestly, it was like I never left. I'm very good at stuff like that, I guess. The only difference I had was memories of a foreign place, new friendships, and lots of photos & souvenirs.

And no reverse culture shock! Thank goodness. I am quite the trooper, but now, anytime I see videos/photos of Japan, I miss it terribly. I will definitely visit again!
