HOMEWORK POLICY

1.  One(1) missed or imcomplete assignment

                 -Missed or incomplete work form sent to parents/guardians

2. Two(2)-missed or incomplete assignments

                 -Missed or incomplete work form sent to parents/guardians

                 -Lunch Detention (7 and 8) 

                 -Recess Detention (6th)

3. Three(3)-missed or incomplete assignments

                 -Missed or incomplete work form to parents/guardians(with notice of detention date and                                        time)*Typically the detention will occur the following day.

                 -Thirty(30) minute after school detention. (Within 24 hours)

4. If a student receives Four or more homework detenetions, he/she will be reffered to Ms. Elphick.  A meeting with the student and Ms. Elphick (and possibly parents) may be required.

In all cases, grading policies apply to the work, but the student will be expected to make up the missed work.  Missed work tallys will reset to a zero(0) at the start of each new quarter.
