Dear Parents,

It is the end of another school year, but we should not be sad. We truly have had a wonderful year together. This year we grew together into brave, adventurous and thoughtful 3rd and 4th graders. We are lucky. Though, as we move on to new classrooms, new towns or even just summer, it is important we do not lose all we have worked so hard to learn. Each student should be so incredibly proud of all their hard work and be excited to know they now have the opportunity to share all they have learned to all that comes next in their lives. Thank you all for the trust you have given me in your children and all the kindness that has come as part of our community. It has been an absolute pleasure being part of the TVCS community these past two years.

News and Announcements:

• Spirt Week is next week! Monday is PJ Day, Tuesday is Crazy Hat Day, Wednesday is Dress Crazy Day, Thursday is Dress Fancy Day, Friday is Superhero Day!
• Extravaganza is Thursday June 5th at 4pm at Teton High School! Please make sure your child arrives just before 4pm.
• Friday June 6th we will be celebrating our reading lives with the Mighty Mustangs! We start the day around 10:30am biking to the Victor Library to sign up for summer reading and to create a buzz about books! Next, we will afternoon celebrating in the park with our bikes and milkshakes! Please send your child to school on Friday with their bike & helmet.
• Last day of school is Tuesday June 10th!

Weekly Reminders:

• "Book in a Bag" and "Words in a Bag" should be moving between school and home. Please make sure your child is bringing both back to school each day.
• Reading logs are collected each Monday when new ones are passed out. Students who read for 4 days a week for 20 mins for 4 weeks in a row are eligible for "reading parties" as a reward.
• Spelling tests are every Friday. Please practice studying pattern words through word sorts and high frequency words through spelling tic-tac-toe activities.
