Through reflection and discussion with my mentor and PDA I have been able to learn about the quality of my teaching. Also, by reviewing video tapes of my science lessons I have been able to evaluate myself and find ways to better my teaching to benefit the students. By having more opportunities to teach, I have been able to self-evaluate my own teaching through reflective journals, the exploration of an inquiry project and the assessment sections of lesson plans. Also, reflecting and completing the "intern assessment forms" for conferences with my mentor and PDA have helped me target areas for improvement.I have seen this domain expand with examples of my progress as I have started teaching more lessons and taking on more of a main role in the classroom. I also expect to get better at discussing my strengths and areas for improvement in the future.
