Responsible for accompanying actors at auditions and rehearsals, making a budget for orchestra members for each show, organizing rehearsal schedules, conducting and playing for each show. In addition, I am responsible for teaching the show music to the actors, giving private lessons in voice and piano, and teaching music theory.

Recipient of FIU MPAS Scholarship; Scholarship recipient from Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship Program; Treasurer of the Collegiate National Association of Music Educators – CMENC (2008- 2009); President of CMENC (2009-2010); Recipient of The Student Advocacy Award from the Florida Higher Education Arts Network; Member of University Chorale; Member of Concert Choir; Member of Women’s Choir; named one of the 100 Music Education Majors on Twitter.

 

Organized and participated in the Grand Cayman Music Workshop, which developed into the Creative Music Project, Inc., in July of 2010 teaching Music Technology to elementary school students.
