Post Test Review
What worked?
I think reminding students about the upcoming test and having them discuss study tips was useful. I think I made my expectations clear. Also, writing a list on the whiteboard of what to do when finished helped the students remain silent once they finished their test.
What would I change?
I wish I could have had a copy of the test available in Spanish. The ELL student struggled. He wrote on his test “(His Name) Doesn't Understand.” I tried interpreting the directions for him, and I told him he could write the answers in Spanish. He seemed to understand my interpretations, but he seemed to frustrated to do so.
