I have learned so much!  Here are SOME of the things I learned and gained from my my practicum:

I learned that I can teach.  I taught fractions to 49 students (how cool is that)? I have gained confidence.  I put into practice many of the best practices and education theories I have learned about.  I successfully created a safe, fun learning environment.  I learned just how diverse students learning needs really are. I exercised by ability to think-on-my-feet.  I practiced reflective teaching. I developed a neat organization system.  I gained valuable teaching resources.  I met a great teacher role model, reference and friend (my mentor teacher).  I became a role model for my students.
