This project outlines suspension and expulsion procedures when a student brings a weapon to school. It will describe, in outline form, the step-by-step procedures needed to deal with this particular situation and what documentation will be completed in the suspension and expulsion procedure. It also includes an analysis of the procedures paying particular attention to what is working, what should be modified, how the procedures are used, and what reactions have been to the protocol.

This project examined the STAR method of communication and how it can be applied when communicating the events of a situation to maintain the integrity of the communication. It was applied to three scenarios.
