Rachel Boyle brings nearly ten years of public history experience in every corner of the field, from exhibit curation and site interpretation to historic preservation and digital history. Boyle earned her PhD in U.S. and Public History from Loyola University Chicago in 2017, where she was the recipient of the President’s Medallion for Leadership, Scholarship, and Service. She also spearheaded the Chrysler Village History Project, which received awards from the American Association of State and Local History, the National Council on Public History, and the Midwestern History Association. Boyle is an experienced public historian who is passionate about building collaboration and harnessing the power of the past for the benefit of contemporary communities.
