COUN5253 Assessment

Measurement theory as well as principles, concepts, and procedures of systematic assessment of client needs.  Includes the use of clinical observation; instruments measuring abilities, achievement, interests, personality, interpersonal relationships, and mental health symptoms.  Interpreting test results and writing psychological reports also covered.  Prerequisite(s): COUN 5263.

The attached example syllabus is a course guide that should be used by core and non-core faculty.  KPIs are identified and all KPI assessments are required.
