COUN5283 Advanced Counseling Skills

Competency-based course with experience emphasis. The student is required to demonstrate proficiency in counseling concepts and techniques before proceeding to COUN 5293. May require to repeat as needed. Prerequisite(s): Must have completed 24 hours, including COUN 5203, COUN 5243, COUN 5263, COUN 5273, COUN 5303, COUN 5363, and COUN 6013.

The attached example syllabus is a course guide that should be used by core and non-core faculty.  KPIs are identified and all KPI assessments are required.
