This is an advanced course, designed for master’s students who are already teachers of record. The course examines effective practices for the teaching and learning of mathematics and science, which integrate technology, particularly the SMART Board and web based simulations and excursions. The course places a particular emphasis on the needs of teachers and students as mandated by the New York State Mathematics Core Curriculum and the associated grade level tests. NOTE: Suitable settings for this course are online or in a SMART College classroom, preferably a classroom with a SMART Board. 3 credits.
NCATE KEY PROGRAM ASSESSMENT #3: LESSON PLAN COLLECTION
Summary:
The Lesson Plan Collection addresses NCATE Key Program Assessment #3 and NAEYC Standards 1c, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 4a, 4b, 4c, 5a, 5b, 5c and ACEI Standards 1.0, 2.1, 2.2., 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 4.0. This assessment is to be completed before student teaching. The collection will represent various content areas, involve both group and individual planning, and include various pedagogical approaches.

1. At the lower right, click on Complete Form.
2. Complete all required fields. Note: If you do not have all of the required information, you can Save and Return to finish the Form at a later date; however, do not click Submit Work until the Form is completed in its entirety.

4. Click on the Scores/Results tab, scroll down to find the completed Form, then click on Submit Work. Follow any subsequent instructions.
