Standard 3 indicators 1,2,3 and 4 and Standard 10 

Context: This lesson was created and taught in GS 4401 with the instruction and help of Professor Gail Bastarache. Along with the lesson we did a Science notebook with several sections: as well as a journal with the information that we talked about in class. As a class we covered all the indicators for the NC Science Standard by peer teaching on all the different topics and by going over the ones not covered in regular class. We also did a unit on mesuremnt on animals and a unit on animals during student teaching.

Student teaching in student teaching we did a unit on animals, a unit on measurement and a lesson rocks and minerals and these were very benefiical for the sutdents and met the indicators 1,2,and 3 in the standard 3 content.

Impact: This will help me in the classroom by providing me with a step by step way of teaching a Science lesson and with insight on how to integrate Science  into other subjects. This also helped me to understand the process skills that are taught and used by teachers and students in the Science classroom.
