Getting Started With Portfolios!

• From the TaskStream Home Page, click on the purple tab on the top tool bar labeled Folios and Webpages
• Next title your Portfolio (this name will be visible on your webpage)
• Choose a template that best exemplifies the work you are doing and purpose for Portfolio (general purpose template or custom purpose template, then choose from the list  i.e. SPED 539/590 Field Experiences Portfolio)
• Then Save and Return and choose the format/color and layout, click Save and Return
• On the left are your labels which can be renamed, moved or deleted
• All saves are immediate
• Add your materials by typing in text boxes, adding files (remember the end user/visitor to your site needs to have Word for instance to view attachments, pdfs are a better choice)
• You can add video, pictures, links or any other file format- (for scanned docs- just scan to your computer and add the pdf or jpeg to the attachment panel)

Then if you are adding this as a key assessment or assignment for your course (i.e. SPED 539/590, EDAD 505 or EDAD 590/591 for instance) then follow these additional instructions:

• Click on the home tab on the top tool bar.  Choose your program from the list (i.e. Graduate Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Educational Leadership, etc.), find the key assessment/assignment labeled, and attach the folio by clicking the attachment panel, choose an artifact created in TaskStream, choose folio, and then choose your named folio.
• Save, submit for evaluation and choose your professor from the list, and submit

If you want to just have your professor review what you have done without submitting, choose these instructions below:

• Click on the purple review tab
• Choose your professor from the list
• Submit

If you want to publish this folio as a webpage, follow these instructions:

• Publish and Share
• Add a password or choose no password
• Copy and paste the url address and send to districts, add to applications and add to resume
