The Teacher Cadet program in Fairfax County offers one industry credential  from the National Occupational Career Testing Institute (NOCTI).  It is Education and Training.  It was first offered during the 2010-11 school year.

The Teacher Cadet program doesn't have a program certification.

Artifact 29 - copy of TEACHER'S industry certification(s)

I'm Certified in Family and Consumer Sciences by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.

I'm CPR and AED certified.

I renewed my First Aid Training; the program on March 6, 2012; certificate is in the mail.

I renewed my Medicine Administration Training (MAT) on March 6, 2012; certificate attached.

Artifact 30 - evidence of workshops/courses completed by TEACHER in related field in last 3 years

In the last three years I have attended Virginia Teacher Cadet curriculum update training twice:

  • October 2010 in Richmond
  • August 2011 in Roanoke

I have also attended numerous workshops at Mount Vernon High School and in Fairfax County.  They are listed on the attached summary of my continuing education credits.  The workshops I select that are not required focus on technology.
