This class teachs about learning styles and students assess their own learning style.  If a teacher understands learning styles, the teacher can use a variety of strategies to reach all learners.  Teacher Cadet consistently uses multiple learning strategies in lessons.

No adaptive technology is needed at this time.  If it was needed, it would be provided for the student(s).

The accommodations that the two Teacher Cadets with IEP's need this year include:

• opportunities to write essays
• extended time to complete assignments

Six essays are a required part of each professional portfolio:

• Career Plan (CTSO co-curricular activity with FCCLA) (assignment attached)
• Realizing My Power (assignment attached)
• Becoming an Effective Teacher (CTSO co-curricular activity with FEA) (assignment attached)
• Teacher Gifts (assignment attached)
• First Internship Reflection
• Second Internship Reflection
• Lesson Plan Refelction (attached)

In addition, students write a daily journal and a reflection on their monthly portfolio lesson.
