Information Literacy Competency:

Information Literacy Competency is one of the three General Education Competencies taught in FRSM 101 - Freshman Seminar / Critical Inquiry, a required course for all freshman entering Mercy College with less that 30 credits. Paper-based pre-tests and post-tests were administered by course instructors at the beginning and end of the course. Online pre-test and post-test were developed in the Summer of 2010 and administered to students for the first time in Fall 2010.
