The name of the bridge is called Detroit superior bridge also known as the veteran’S Memorial Bridge. It is located above the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland Ohio. The bridge links Detroit Avenue on Cleveland’S west side and Superior Avenue on Cleveland’S east side. The construction of the bridge was by the king Bridge Company. The construction began in 1914 and ended in 1918. The cost of the bridge was $5.4 million dollars.
It was the first high level bridge in Cleveland and third high level bridge above the Cuyahoga River. The Detroit superior bridge is 3112 ft (949 meters) long 96ft (29 meters) of clearance above the river and rises to 196ft (60 meters) above the river at peak of the central span. It also has and upper level. The upper level of the bridge has been closed due to streetcar operations ceased in 1954. More then 3,000 cars visit or go across the bridge. The bridge is also designed to have a lane for bike riding and benches to rest on if you were to walk across the bridge.
