One thing I enjoy is yoga. I am currently taking a class that practices Vinyasa Yoga, but I enjoy qualities of many types of yoga. Vinyasa Yoga focuses on synchronizing breathe with a continuous flow between postures. This type of yoga can increase flexibility, strength, and stamina while also relaxing the mind.

During this past year I began running. Since then, I have completed my first 5K and have signed up for a 10K. While running has been—and still is—a physical and mental challenge, it has taught me more about my mental and physical limits as well as myself. Through running, I have met encouraging and inspiring people and have learned that, with enough determination, running is achievable despite most physical ailments.
