This inaugural week in music class we became familiar with the acoustic guitar, as that is the primary medium through which I will be teaching the students.  We also spent time singing a few songs including “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” and “This Little Light of Mine”.  We used the majority of the class time playing percussion instruments and practicing call and response between the teacher’s drum and the student’s percussion lollipops
