Los murcielagos negros are moving right along with their body parts class poster in Spanish! We’ve read bilingual books on individual body parts, explored questions about the human anatomy with Sam’s bilingual book (Gracias, Sam!), and have had fun with our digestive system book this past week. Come see our body parts poster and let us know where we can add to it. I’m really proud of the Black Bats and know they’ll keep up the good work as we move forward into more specific body systems in Spanish.

Sam is respobsible for singing these letters in our spanish song!
IMG_9813 (Small).JPG Hola a las familias y amigos de los murcielagos negros! Gracias for your support of helping us learn about the human body in Spanish and English! This week, we worked on learning more parts of the body with our body part books in preparation for creating a large poster of the human anatomy labeled in Spanish. We’ve had fun learning our senses as well with words like: oler, rastrear, ver, mirar, oír, escuchar, y saber. It’s been great to see how much we remember each week and how we practice our phrases of the week at home. I hope you all are learning a lot from your little Spanish-speaking bats!

Los murcielagos negros are working really hard to get to know the parts of the body and senses in Spanish. We’ll be working on a large body project, labeling parts of the anatomy with Spanish words and practicing songs to do with our body parts. I’m so impressed by how much they already know! We’re also still trying to keep up our knowledge from our songs and introduce new phrases of the week, so let’s keep practicing what we know already! The week’s phrase: “Estoy bromeando!”

Black Bats learn a song about human body parts!

Los mucielagos negros continue to have impressive Spanish classes showing their knowledge of the anatomy beyond their years. We all use our ojos, orejas, cabezas, brazos, manos, piernas, estomagos, bocas, narices, dedos, pies, pelo, y dientes every day in different ways, so when we use them, let’s try to use our Spanish vocabulary to name those body parts together. And “No te preocupes” (our Spanish Phrase of the Week/Frase de la semana) if you forget a word, you can always look it up with your parents, let it come back to you naturally, or ask about it next class! Hasta martes!
