We met with Emily outside on a drizzly Wednesday morning. Why?!?  You might ask? Well, we have barley to plant! Our long term plan is to provide barley as a food source in our bird habitat at TVCS. Since we are encroaching on winter- we are doing an indoor test batch by our large west-facing windows. It will need daily tending, watering and TLC. We are excited to look for sprouts!

In Farm and Garden this week, we divided into two groups, gutted pumpkins, harvested the seeds, seasoned them, roasted them and gobbled them up! YUM!
