Through out my Children's Literature course, I learned about the many benefits of reading aloud to children. As a teacher, I plan to conduct read-alouds on a daily basis so that I can expose my students to literature, and hopefully inspire them to find more pleasure in reading. Below, you will find a pamphlet I created that explains the many benefits of read-alouds, and offers other teachers advice on how to carry out a successful read-aloud.
