You are a reporter for The Daily Times.  You and members of your staff are assigned to write a special retrospective edition on US Imperialism.  You will look at a variety of primary and secondary sources. As a journalist, you will research U.S. Imperialism and will meet with fellow staff members to culminate their findings and write a special edition of The Daily Times. 

This special edition will be distributed to schools across the country!

 

You and your staff members of The Daily Times need to get started on the special edition NOW in order to make your deadline in two weeks! You  will take on the role of either editor, reporter, or photojournalist in order to show all the varying aspects and viewpoints of Imperialism. We have sent our editor out into the field, reporters all over the globe! You will all meet together to collaborate before the issue goes to print!

Task #1 Brainstorm with your fellow journalists.
Task #2 Research and take notes for your article.
Task #3 Write a draft of your article based on your research.
TasK #4 Meet with your group and publish the special edition.
