I am part of an annual student planning team that helps over 200 Loyola students host more than 120 local Chicago children. This campus-wide Christmas event allows children to enjoy all kinds of crafts and games like cookie decorating, letters to Santa, basketball with the Loyola players, and sitting on Santa’s lap. I love the holiday season and anything that contributes to making a better Christmas for the less fortunate. These kids deserve to have the childhood Christmases that I had. They might not be able to celebrate anything if it was not for all the amazing volunteers of Loyola. You cannot describe the feeling that you get one you make a little kid smile so much that he could brighten the room.
