This agenda of a faculty meeting was given to me during my student teaching at Mabel Elementary School in Watauga County. The faculty meeting took place on January 22, 2008.
Impact:
This agenda proves that I have participated in faculty meetings at Mabel Elementary. Attending this faculty meeting helped me grow as a professional. I walked away from this meeting with a better understanding of school policies, ways to get my students involved before and after school, and budget plans.

Attending this faculty meeting helped me meet the following North Carolina Department of Public Instruction Standards for Elementary Education:
Standard 16: Elementary teachers develop as leaders in their schools and communities by staying informed about educational policy issues and supporting professional development. Elementary teachers participate in co-curricular activities, provide leadership in student and curriculum involvement, and connect these activities to the development of citizenship ideals of their students.
